Several races live in Aegislane, both sentient and non sentient.

Non-sentient races includes air creatures of most types (like birds), earth creatures (like canines, felines, and lizards) and sea creatures (like fishes, sharks).

The sentient ones are the Cassum, the Caelus and the Tellans.

Cassum

Comparable to the humans on Earth, the Cassum are the biggest in terms of population of the sentient races, suming up almost 60% of the entire planet. With an average build and average weight, Cassum can be found in almost all regions, with a diversity of jobs and professions.

Can be fair-skinned, dark-skinned and variations between them. Eyes and hair colors can vary between regions.

Regular Cassum

The so called "Regular Cassum" is the standard version of them, without any sort of modifications or alterations.

Mer-Cassum

The Mer-Cassum are the ones that were once modified to co-exist with sea life, developing several traits comparable to them, like fish tails and scales, as well, water breathing and stronger muscles, to survive the water pressure. Eventually they became their own sub-race, living underwater.

Har-Cassum

The Har-Cassum are the ones that were once modified to co-exist with air creatures, namely birds. They developed several traits, like bird-like feet in some, and wings, plus internal airbags to help with the flight. Like the Mer-Cassum, they also became their own sub-race, living away from civilization.

Fel-Cassum

The Fel-Cassum are the ones that were once modified to acquire feline traits. However, unlike the Mer and the Har-Cassum, the Fel-Cassum have a variance of feline traits. Some are extremely feline-like, while others are just Cassum with feline ears and a tail. This variance has left scientists and scholars confused, and thus, the Fel-Cassum aren't considered an official sub-race.

Kit-Cassum

The Kit-Cassum are the ones that were once modified to acquire fox traits. Just like with the Fel-Cassum, the Kit-Cassum have a variance of fox traits, some are extremely fox-like, others just have with ears and tail. But unlike the Fel-Cassum, they are considered an official sub-race, due to the variance being less pronounced and to their blood being used to save lives of all types of Cassum.

Beast-Cassum

The Beast-Cassum are an strange occurrence, due to not being genetically altered, but instead, have something akin to a curse. Normally any Cassum that doesn't exhibit traits like fish tails and scales, bird-like feet and wings, feline or fox ears and tails are considered as this. While they aren't an official sub-race, they are still classified as such.

Caelus

Comparable to the elves in fiction, the Caelus have in general a higher stature compared to the other races and knife-shaped ears. They are found in older and colder areas in Aegislane, as they are more resistant to the advent of the technology. This does not mean they don’t use it, but they try to avoid a more expressive use of the technology, like body modification.

Can be fair-skinned, dark-skinned and variations between them. Eyes and hair colors can vary between regions.

Regular Caelus

The 'regular' Caelus is considered as such due to not having any different traits.

Mer-Caelus

The Mer-Caelus are the ones that were tried and succeeded in co-exist with sea life, developing several traits comparable to them, like fish tails and scales, as well, water breathing and stronger muscles, to survive the water pressure. However, unlike the Mer-Cassum, all of the traits developed naturally, overtime. They are considered a sub-race, living underwater.

Beast-Caelus

The Beast-Caelus are similar to the Beast-Cassum, having developed some animal traits as time went by. However, any Caelus that doesn't exhibit sea creatures' traits like fish tails and scales are considered as this. They aren't considered an official sub-race.

Tellans

The Tellans are comparable to the dwarves in fiction, having a shorter stature than any of the other races. They are pioneers on technology and any advancements in Aegislane can be attributed to them.

Regular Tellans

The 'regular' Tellans is considered as such due to not having any different traits.

Beast-Tellans

The Beast-Tellans are similar to the Beast-Caelus and the Beast-Cassum, having developed some animal traits as time went by. However, any Tellan that exhibit any animal traits are considered as this. They aren't considered an official sub-race.

Genders

Aegislane differs from other planets as the genders are actually 4. Females and Male have variations as seen below.

Females Type 1 (also known as FT1 or F1) are females with no external genitalia.

Females Type 2 (also known as FT2 or F2) are females with external genitalia.

Males Type 1 (also known as MT1 or M1) are males with no external genitalia.

Males Type 2 (as known as MT2 or M2) are males with external genitalia.

Due to that, it's common to see same sex couple, most of the time, they are either M1 and M2, or F1 and F2.
